Any alums? [Dec. 30th, 2005|08:47 pm]
Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society

[mood |amusedFriendly]

Greetings all.

I'm an alum. I came into STD through Alpha Alpha Psi at Hastings College. I'm also a CU Boulder Alum, but STD didn't get there until after I left.

I'm curious about something. I'd really like an STD window decal and it's not available on the 'B' order form. I'm living in California. Through experience, I *know* not to depend on my old English department. If I order something through them, they'll forget and think it's for them. I also think it'd be really great to have a banner in my office, someday. Is there another way for alums to buy these things? Would the alumni chapter help with that? I've been trolling eBay off and on, but all that surfaces is the occasional pin.

Thanks for humoring my questions. Have a wonderful 2006. :o)

I'm a current member out of CalState Stanislaus. I just looked up the oderform on the website, and it says that you have to order 'official' merchandise like that through a chapter sponsor...and merchandise always comes in bulk, so you can't order just one. Quite a few schools in the state have chapters, so you MIGHT try emailing one close to you and seeing if they happen to have what you need, or if they're gonna be sending in a merchandise order anytime soon. My chapter isn't even a year old yet, so we've got nothing like that, but one of the older chapters may... It's just a thought. It really does suck that individuals can't order stuff like that. Hope it helps.

I may be going to the conference in Portland this spring. If they have any decals I would be willing to pick one up for you and send it your way.
